An Oklahoma woman accused of binding and gagging her two daughters, including stabbing her eldest more than 50 times before setting their house on fire was arrested Tuesday.
A smiling Taheerah Ahmad, 39, was taken into custody at around 12:30 p.m. in Tulsa after an Amber Alert was issued for her 7-year-old daughter, KJRH-TV reported.
The girl was found safe in a parking lot with Ahmad.
On Monday night, the 7-year-old helped her 9-year-old sister escape from their home while Ahmad was stabbing their 11-year-old sister, according to the Tulsa World.
Tulsa police said they found the 11-year-old with about 50 to 60 stab wounds and the house was on fire. Ahmad and the youngest girl were missing, police said.

The 9-year-old told authorities Ahmad put socks in their mouths and bound their hands with duct tape before her mom attacked her older sister.
The 11-year-old girl remained hospitalized in critical condition Tuesday.
